Through competitive 54 hole tournaments hosted at some of Ireland’s finest golf courses, the tour creates a pathway for talented golfers to develop, compete and progress in the amateur game.
What makes the Irish WAGR Tour particularly special is its small fields and significant ranking opportunities. With an average field of just 24 competitors, our events can offer ranking points comparable to many of Ireland’s leading men’s and women’s amateur championships, subject to field strength and WAGR calculations. Field sizes are intentionally limited as these run alongside our Irish Junior Open Tour events, creating a unique opportunity for golfers to compete for valuable world ranking points in a smaller, highly competitive field.
