Our end of season ‘Irish Junior Open Tournament of Champions’ event brings together all our age group leader board champions from each tour to see who will become the overall champions for the year. This tournament takes place after the Autumn Tour on a top Championship course and all our overall Champions get to experience a VIP event like no other.

With 4 Junior Majors, 1 in each of our seasonal tours and the Players Championship taking place in the Summer, our goal is to create a Major Championship feel with upgraded goody bags, prizes, trophies and opportunities.

With an outstanding career including many impressive victories around the world, Darren became a major champion in 2011 with a victory in the Open Championship at Royal St George’s

After making contact with Darren in 2019 he was honoured to be able to put his name on our Winter Tour Champions trophy. Hailing from Dungannon in Northern Ireland he is a strong supporter of Irish golf and his support will help encourage our competitors for many years.

Payne Stewart was one of golf’s finest ever competitors and gentlemen before he was tragically killed in a plane accident just five months after his iconic second US Open victory at Pinehurst in 1999.

In 2019 we wanted to bestow the name of a special golfer on our Spring Tour Champions trophy and after speaking to Payne’s legacy team and his wife Tracey we were honoured to be in a position to place Payne’s name on our trophy. Payne may not be with us, but his memory, iconic images and stories will continue to inspire our Irish Junior Open competitors for many years to come.

It’s not often in life you experience moments that will leave a lasting impression in your lifetime but in 2019 at the Open Championship that is exactly what happened. Having had the honour of placing one of the greatest golfers of all time on our Summer Tour Champions trophy, we got to spend an afternoon with Mr Player at Royal Portrush. This opportunity provided our 2018 Summer Tour Champion Harry O’Hara with an amazing experience being able to pick the brains of a living legend live on Sky Sports and the Golf Channel.

Gary’s involvement and the time he has devoted to our tour and Champions has been incredible and has no doubt enlightened our tour players with his incredible work ethic and fitness.

From day one Ping has been an incredible supporter of our Tour. Having the support of a brand like Ping has helped us grow to become Europe’s premier junior golf tour and has enabled us to provide many Ping crested items and Prodi G clubs to our competitors and Champions.

We look forward to continuing to grow into one of the World’s biggest junior golf tours with Ping’s support and in doing so will present our Autumn Tour Champion with the Ping Trophy.

The ‘Champion of Champions’ World Championship is the World’s Biggest Junior Champions Invitationals.

Our tour is Ireland’s only qualifying tour for this prestigious World Amateur Golf Ranking Championship and throughout the year we host numerous qualifying events.
